This Artist was trained at the California College of Arts and Crafts. His learning was cut short with a draft notice and went into the Air Force. He became a medic and began the journey of learning the healing arts. When holidays came around loved ones and friends were thrilled when art was given. His loving and supportive wife said one day why do you not use these gifts of yours and share them with other people? He then pursued publishing his poems and learning how to start a business selling his art His poems were published under the pen name of Duane Seti, and in 1989 the Studio was born……..Duane’s nick name is DJ and his wife’s name is Ruth, and that is how Djáru was created with a focus on works of art in limited editions. In creating these original works of art, The Studio of Djáru has displayed its works of art at the Carmel Gallery of Art, Planet Earth Rising, Angels and Treasures, and our online site. Weaving grapevines, fine porcelain, Bavarian and Swarovski crystals, semi-precious gemstones, faux and real pearls, we create art in limited editions of exquisite beauty. By letting our imagination soar, each piece we create, we weave an extraordinary symbol of bounty, prosperity and the wonderment the one Godhead has showered upon each of us.
